On 28 February 2009 PJMA sponsored it 2008 Battle of the Bands Grand Finals. The event marked the conclusion of a year long series of Battle of the Bands for 2008.

This year we had all the bands who were winners of the seasonal battle of the bands preliminary run-offs compete in the finals. The audience was treated to an excellent concert with the bests music in southern Maryland.

Congratulation to the 4 bands that made it to the finals and compete in the grand finals. Below is the standings of all the bands for the year and special acknowledgement for the band who place in the top 4.

Based on the audience the band attracted to the event, how the audience at the event voted for the bands, and scoring by judges the winners for 2008 are as follows:
