Anyone who has played in an new area that is not their hometown has had the problem that the fans in the new area do not turn out for the band's show.  The band is excited, they have driven many miles, practiced many hours, and gave up time at a paying job to perform in a new market area.  Then hen on stage, ready to play they find out they are playing for an empty house!

The Gig Exchange is the place where alliance members can build on each other's  fans base.  The concept is for two bands to host a local concert with two out of town bands in trade for the out-of-town bands hosting a concert in their market area with the two local bands.

There is no limit on the location of the local or out-of-town concert, it can be a bar, restaurant, recreation facility, hall, party house, bonfire, school, college, and etc.

PJMA will help broker the exchange by listing on this page the bands hosting the gigs, the location and the exchange gig and location.  Of course, the bands playing will be listed as the agreements are made between alliance members.  We will post the gig flyer in gif or jpg format.

All out of St. Mary's County gigs will have to make their own arrangements for sound.  Gigs local to St. Mary's County can be supported by the band's choice of sound technicians.  PJMA will provide sound on a time available basis
