Our regional Six Flags America (SFA) in Largo Maryland has opened their outdoor stages for performance by local talent. They call the concert series "Live and Local" The artists can be any type of entertainment provide it is family friendly, this includes but not limited to musical groups, dancers, speakers, magicians, marshal artist, etc.

PJMA has a contract with SFA that allow artist to book performance through PJMA and start promoting immediate there after. In return for performing at the SFA, all band members and staff will be allowed in the park for free. When the group is not performing, they can enjoy all open venues in the park.

   The park has three stages for Live and Local performances. The Celebration Stage is located in the center of the park. Nearby is the second stage called the Beach Cove Stage and the third stage called the Sunset Stage which is located in the water park.

   PJMA has two arrangements for Artist who would like to perform at the Live and Local Concert::

        1. Bands can book a stage for one day, the Bands must play a minim of 4 sets, each 30 minutes long, spread out during the time the park is open. The bands must provide their own Sound Systems & Sound Engineer.
        2 PJMA will book a stage for a featured Live and Local Concert and provide the sound system and production crew. Bands can book to be part of the PJMA program, they will be required to play 1 to 2 30 minute sets depending upon the park schedule and number of bands who join the program. A typical schedule will handle a maximum of 10 performance slots (30 minutes each).

To book your group please send an email to Booking@pjma.info and let us know what date, event, stage you would like to book.. PJMA will reply if the booking is possible or alternate dates need to be considered.

After being booked each band is required to completed the applicable PJMA/SFA Contract (Band Provides Sound or PJMA Provides Sound) and the Live and Local Artist Data Sheet. Please download the documents (right click and save the hyperlinked document), fill out and send back to PJMA (booking@pjma.info). Email with attachments is preferred, postal mail to the address given on the contract is also acceptable.
