The Spotlight Concert series showcases a variety of musicians who have
achieved wide community appeal and have an entertaining stage show.
You will
find everything from Gospell to Rock to Folk to World Music and others. |

This concert series is
held at the Three Notch Theater in Lexington Park or the Black Box Theater in the Indian Head Center for the Arts at
4185 Indian Head Hwy, Indian Head Maryland.
Newtowne Players, a 501(c)3 non profit
professional non-union theatre company, operates
the Three Notch Theater and produces plays throughout the year.
Newtowne Players has invited
PJMA to feature musicians when the theater is not being used for plays.

Chesapeake Bay Floating
Theatre, Inc (CBFT), a 501(c)3 non profit
professional non-union theatre company, operates
the theater and produces plays throughout the year. CBTF has invited
PJMA to feature musicians when the theater is not being used for plays.

The Three Notch Theater seats about 100
people in an auditorium layout, and has wheelchair areas, and limited standing
area in front of the stage. The seats are on a multi-level risers with
soft theater seats. There is large with ample back stage area to position
band gear. The building has a large pre-function area next to the risers.
Outside there is ample area for parking. |

The Black Box Theater seats about 80
people in an auditorium layout, and has wheelchair areas, but no standing
areas. The theater creates a very focused audience with their attention only on
the musicians performing on the stage. The musicians will appreciate the close
interaction with their fans. |

The typical concert will feature two to three
bands/groups/musicians over a three-hour program running from 8 PM to 11
PM. The musicians will be paid based on the audience they attract.
There will be advance ticket sales available through the respective band
performing for a given date. Tickets will also be sold at the
door. Musicians who would like to perform at the Spotlight Concert should
have a press kit and at least a demo CD that can be used to create the
program and promote the concert. The musicians should also have
references from at least three venues with in the last year that we can
contact to verify the audience the band attracts and the quality of the
performance. You may provide the press kit, demo CD and references by
postal mail to PJMA, 45870 Bob's Court, Lexington Park, MD 20653 or you
